Our Team & Leadership Development Programmes enhance teamwork and leadership by raising each person's levels of awareness of themselves and their colleagues. Usually of between 3 and 5 days duration, every programme is individually tailored to meet the client's specific needs.
We have venues to suit almost all tastes and budgets, including a superb dedicated team development centre in mid-Wales (with everything literally on the back doorstep), a number of excellent hotels (all experienced in accommodating this type of programme), and several comfortable modern bunkhouses (with all "mod-cons"). Venues exist throughout Wales, and those of you who believe Wales to be a long way from anywhere will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to reach us.
Alternatively, we are happy to run programmes elsewhere - but please bear in mind that long experience has demonstrated that this type of training is most effective when based in tranquil, scenic areas where there is ample opportunity for quiet reflection. Large, anonymous modern hotels with characterless dining rooms and pristine golf courses may have their place, but they do nothing to enhance our training, so we try to avoid them whenever possible.
Our team and leadership development programmes commonly start with a workplace visit a few weeks prior to the main event. This not only gives us the chance to meet the participants, but also gives each individual the opportunity to discuss the programme and ask questions. We also recommend at least one workplace visit shortly after the programme - these follow-up sessions not only keep the ball rolling, but also allow us to monitor progress with individual commitments, team charters or project work.
Within any large business, different departments will have their own set of issues, many of which lie hidden from outside. In order to address these and make the development programme more meaningful, we can visit clients' sites to compile a diagnostic report prior to the programme. In this way we are able to discover the true nature of any issues... and how best to address them.
