Adding Value
Enhancing more conventional classroom training
We regularly work with other trainers and training organisations who seek our expertise in experiential learning and facilitation in order to enhance more conventional indoor programmes. We can contribute to the effectiveness such training by offering a creative pause or, sometimes literally, a breath of fresh air! This is not to imply we are better - merely different.
As specialists in experiential training, we can bring something refreshingly different to indoor programmes, enhancing effectiveness by giving participants an opportunity to learn more about themselves and their colleagues, and to practice the skills to which they are being introduced. We have a constantly expanding range of enjoyably different experiential tasks, which allow people to experiment in an environment where mistakes are not costly, neither in terms of business revenue nor personal reputation.
If you run training using conventional indoor "talk & chalk" methods, we have experiential tasks that can dovetail with your sessions, enhancing their effectiveness through practical example and experiment. And if a suitable task is not readily available, we will design one for you! Indeed, all our training is custom designed to reflect relevant objectives and issues, to add value, and to aid progression towards desired outcomes.
Contrary to popular belief, experiential learning does not have to involve windswept mountainsides or madly pitching yachts (although these scenarios undoubtedly have their place!). Whilst we can call on experienced and fully qualified outdoorsmen when required, by far the vast majority of our training is run from comfortable hotels and training centres. Indeed, although we prefer to use the outdoors whenever possible - even if this is simply the lawn of a hotel - we have many tasks which can be run entirely indoors.
