*JIGSAW
"Your objective is to complete a large geometric jigsaw puzzle. This comprises twenty pieces, each of which must be earned. Once you have earned all the pieces, you must then put the jigsaw together in the fastest possible time. In order to achieve your objective in full, you must complete the jigsaw in less than ten seconds. The current record is an amazing 2.43 seconds".
"In order to proceed, it will be necessary for everyone to undertake a number of tasks and to fulfil certain requirements - it will therefore be necessary for you to negotiate in order to decide who does what, goes where, and when. Success at the tasks, either individually or as a group, will be rewarded by points that can later be exchanged for pieces of Jigsaw. The definition of 'success' in this instance resides solely with the task facilitators (so treat them nicely!)".
Although this, our most popular team building event, can be run entirely indoors, most people like us to offer a few outdoor tasks, so the design is flexible enough for us to include precisely those modules that are most appropriate to your needs.
Suitable for teams of between about six and 20 people, not only can this team day be run virtually anywhere, it is also almost infinitely adaptable. We can include tasks ranging from the totally cerebral to the largely physical, each one lasting from a few minutes to several hours. This flexibility ensures that everyone is kept fully occupied for the duration of the exercise, and that each person has an essential role.
If your objective is to bond the team, we can arrange for a series of enjoyably different tasks that will keep everyone involved. If, on the other hand, you have identified specific issues that need to be addressed, we can use modules that highlight those issues and raise people’s awareness of the factors involved.

*GRIDLOCK
Similar to Jigsaw, this team building event has been specifically designed for larger teams of between about 20 and 60 people. Becoming increasingly fast and furious as it progresses, the event involves a series of tasks which must be completed in order to earn the components of one or more complex wooden grids, each comprising fifteen interlocking wooden planks. The greater the number of people involved, the greater the number of grids.
Once all the planks have been earned, the grids must then be put together against the clock, either cooperatively or competitively. In the cooperative event, the grids are completed one after the other as in a relay. In the competitive event, teams compete to see who can complete their grid in the fastest time. We have seen three grids completed as a relay in less than 30 seconds, and the record for one grid currently stands at less than 7 seconds! Now that’s teamwork!
We have available a wide range of different tasks that can be used to mimic work issues, thus enhancing the learning, and as with all our other team building events, the final design is very much dependent upon your particular requirements and training needs.
